A Night at
the Speakeasy
Bringing the spirit of the Roaring Twenties to life through vintage-inspired graphic design and memorable printed event materials.
An Invitation to Step Back in Time
For a 2026 Black Tie Club formal dining event, Elevate Data & Wellness Solutions created a custom speakeasy-themed graphic design inspired by the dramatic newspaper headlines and visual language of the Prohibition era.
Bold typography, archival-style imagery, and a monochromatic editorial composition brought the event's 1920s concept to life. The finished design was featured both as a framed display poster and on the covers of printed programs placed at guests' tables.
The result was a cohesive visual element that extended beyond promotion and became part of the event experience itself.

A Vintage
Editorial Approach
The creative direction centered on a familiar visual reference: the urgency and excitement of a 1920s newspaper front page.
The design brought together bold headlines, period-inspired imagery, and a structured editorial layout to evoke the energy of a secret Prohibition-era gathering.
Beyond its visual impact, the artwork needed to translate across different printed applications, from a larger framed poster to smaller program covers displayed at each table.
- Vintage newspaper-inspired composition
- Bold editorial typography and hierarchy
- Black-and-white visual storytelling
- Adaptable event artwork for print
- Cohesive thematic design
